Here’s some of the feedback I’ve had:

“Alex is very collaborative, happy and willing to respond to notes and always ready with a new idea when needed. She understands the practicalities of production, is always positive, and writes strong dialogue in dynamic and engaging scenes. Alex is a creative, responsive and enthusiastic writer who would be an asset to any project.”
– Matt Anderson, script editor

“I thought your scene structure was brilliant, the voices were on point, and the depth / emotional heart of the story really punched through.”
– Shannon Britton, development editor

“You have a very infectious personality and a wonderful passion for storytelling.”
– Kathleen Beedles, executive producer

“Alex is a fantastically focused writer, who was extremely easy to work with. She takes notes on board and has excellent creative solutions to problems. She also has a wealth of ideas with great dramatic potential.”
James Gillam-Smith, screenwriting coach

“The world Alex helped create held together the story, keeping the reader’s attention right from the start. Alex embraces every opportunity and relishes the chance to dive straight into new concepts and scenarios, researching every angle, bringing realism and creativity together into a perfect blend. Alex is clearly a talented writer, but her strength is in how she can challenge a story, a scene, characters and their motives by offering alternative options.”
– Pam Shoker-Texeira, producer

“The characters are all distinctive, and they spring off the page with great vitality. The conflicts between these two worlds – and within them – are woven skilfully into a story that keeps us entertained, engaged, and, ultimately, uplifted.”
– Ian Long, script consultant

“I’ve worked with Alex on numerous occasions including both short films and dramas. As a writer she is brilliant at working to a brief, creating stylish scripts that carry the story both entertainingly and effectively. She works well with constraints, telling stories in simple yet powerful ways.”
Oli Clark, director
